Working within a small admin team, this role will be responsible for providing support to the Purchasing function:
• Expiditing orders. • Raising purchase orders. • Supplier liaison. • Updating and maintaining database records detailing stock records and all activity. • Liaison with the warehouse to check received orders have arrived as expected. • Going into the warehouse to check on problem goods/ boxes. • Other general administrative duties as required.
This role requires some previous experience of supporting the Procurement function. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong administrative, communication and decision making skills. The ability to think on your feet in a busy environment is also key to success in this role. Initially offered on a 3 month temp basis with the possibility of an extension after this time, possibly leading to a permanent job.
