Salary £40k - £60k Depending on Skills and Experience

A fantastic opportunity for a Hardware Manager has arisen to join a growing and award winning company that offers great benefits. Duties will include:

• Manage, motivate and where appropriate mentor and develop the existing Hardware Engineers
• Working with the Recruitment Coordinator, resource additional Hardware Engineers
• Working alongside the Program Manager, produce, publish, maintain and track project plans ( Microsoft Project Work Breakdown and Gantts ) across multiple hardware and software projects (typically 15 major and 15 minor ) in two design locations
• Maintain resource balance across the projects and x-functional disciplines ( e.g. Engineering, Marcom, User Documentation, Technical Support, New Product Introduction) and working with the broad spectrum of individuals and interests involved: negotiate and organise routes through the details of clashes and changing priorities within the projects and local disciplines
• Produce, track and maintain product cost assessments, project risk assessments and early year build forecasts
• Compile and present weekly progress reports and milestone assessments
• Review and ensure accuracy, completeness, quality and consistency of project deliverables - product, internal documents, external documents and promotion, certifications and manufacture information and tools
• Contribute to the constant improvement or development of supportive processes, information mechanisms, tools and resources for this critical to business function
• Ensure that ISO9001 & ISO14001 procedures are adhered to at all times
• Any other reasonable duties as required
