IT Manager Peterborough - £40,000 - £60,000 pa Ongoing Temporary role
To manage the day to day running of the IT department, implement strategies for change and improvement and co-ordinate technical projects relating to all aspects of the companys ICT requirements.
Main Responsibilities Accountable for the overall achievement of the IT Department team. Identify, define and implement innovative. Effective forward planning and resource management to ensure the successful delivery of an IT service that will meet current and future requirements. Experience in data gathering, storing and extraction for display to internal and external customers. Provide support to all departments and individuals relating to the use of IT equipment. Ensure the ICT facilities meet the needs of the individuals and business. Manage day to day operational issues relating to ICT. Transform team working standards, practices and processes whilst improving the ability to deliver services and support to the business. Responsible for the management of relationships with other departments across the business Provide users with the appropriate support, advice & training. Manage crisis situations that may involve complex hardware and software problems. Ensure back up system operation. Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems including email and alms.net. Propose, source and cost suitable software and hardware as the business requires. Ensure the security of all data. Person Specification Minimum of 5 years ICT experience Minimum of 2-3 years experience in managing a team Excellent computer literacy and communication skills at all levels Experience of producing strategies to implement change and improvement Experience of coordinating technical projects Excellent report writing and data analysis skills Effective people and performance management skills Knowledge of Windows Networking Structure, Windows Server Architecture, Microsoft Exchange Server platform, SQL Server and SQL Management and all Microsoft
