Our St Ives based client are currently seeking a Product Marketing Specialist. Our clients breakthrough ideas have fuelled our work on bringing efficient healthcare solutions to life
Duties will include:
• Assist the Marketing Manager in designing, developing and managing the implementation of a marketing strategy for the Airway Visualisation and Anaesthesia and Resuscitation product categories. This will involve a detailed understanding of the product group, its UK marketplace, competitors, pricing, the go-to market strategies of competitors etc. The role will also be required to develop and propose marketing strategies to sales & operations teams.
• Assist the Marketing Manager develop the brand of the portfolio by utilising a range of marketing communication tools as well as developing a network of KOL’s to create brand ambassadors
• Assist the Marketing Manager with new product launches and the successful introduction of new products into the market
• Assist the Marketing Manager design and deliver the annual marketing plan for the assigned product group. The role will be required to turn marketing strategies into actionable project plans. Marketing plans will include a range of activities, described further on; these activities will either be delivered through the efforts of this role or through external agencies. Marketing activities will include (but not exclusively)
o Event/conference planning and management
o Establishing and developing KOL networkds
o Copywriting for web and for print
o Working with design agencies and printers
o Input into digital and content marketing
o Managing multi-marcom campaigns
• Assist the Marketing Manager Manager in the delivery of marketing plans to budget, timescale and quality.
• Assist the Marketing Manager to build, manage and monitor the marketing budget for the product grouping. The role will be required to cost model the delivery of the marketing strategy and marketing plan. This will involve building an annual budget, managing costs on a proactive basis and monitoring spend against budget on an on-going basis, taking appropriate action where required.
• Provide an on-going evaluation of the effectiveness of marketing strategies by measuring the achievement of revenue generation targets. The ultimate output of the role will be measured by achievement of sales and revenue targets of the product group. Marketing strategies, campaigns and plans wherever possible will be measured by revenue generation.
• Monitor and report on the macro and micro environment and identify opportunities for the relevant business units.
• Support the Visualisation Training Team and ensure they are successful in the training of our Visualisation Customers.
Knowledge and Skills
• Previous Marketing experience required (2 year +)
• Good analytical skills with the ability to translate into marketing tactics
• ICT competent
• Confident, personable and with the ability to motivate internal and external stakeholders
• Creative and with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passionate about joining a small but growing company that manufactures and sells products that save lives
Hours: Full time (9am-5pm)
Salary: £25-28k + bonus, + benefits (healthcare and pension after 6 months)
