Meyer-Scott is currently seeking a Marketing Manager for a construction company based in St Ives. Duties will include:
• Developing market specific marketing plans and strategies.
• Managing, editing and writing marketing materials including; leaflets, flyers, presentations, brochures, newsletters and press releases for specialist publications;
• Overseeing all company branding and collateral.
• Liaising with designers and printers.
• Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.
• Evaluating marketing campaigns.
• Managing the company website including content, imagery, weekly blog posts, SEO.
• Organising and attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
• Liaising with client and supplier contacts.
• Updating client databases.
• Conducting market research, for example using client questionnaires.
• Social Media management.
• Monitoring competitor activity.
• Organising social events, including corporate hospitality.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
The desired candidate will:
• Have creative ability,
• Be computer literate.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication.
• Have an understanding of SEO.
• Have good time management and presentation skills.
• Be quick to understand and learn new systems and procedures;
• Have good organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy in performance.
• Possess the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Have self-confidence to sell ideas and brief agencies.
• Be highly self-motivated and confident individual.
Experience in the Construction Industry is preferable.
