Our client works nationwide to help UK businesses comply with health and safety regulations and insurance requirements by providing specialist compliance solutions across a wide array of electrical inspection and electrical testing services, in addition to safety services across everything from fire safety to water safety.
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and professional Field Sales Managers to look after our clients key accounts for specific territories. The candidates will be field based and reporting to the Sales Director.
Duties will include:
The position of sales manager will achieve/exceed sales target Developing and maintaining sales within their defined territory, Negotiating and closing deals, Up selling and cross selling products/services. Identifying and generating sales opportunities, Maintaining good working relations with clients and regularly review the clients needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Main point of contacts for key accounts Managing territory and visiting customers on regular basis Presenting products to customers, identifying and exploring customer requirements and solutions Identifying new customers and business potential within territory Preparing bids & quotations Assisting and attending conferences and exhibitions Reporting sales activities and preparing reports and forecasts as required Targeting and cold calling new business Developing the business strategy for the specific territory
The role will require securing sales across key industry sectors including areas of local authorities, housing associations, NHS, education and commercial organisations.
The desired candidate will:
Have a clean driving licence 5 years + experience in a field sales position preferred Commercial awareness Highly self-motivated and energetic
Effective communication skills, professional written and verbal communication, including presentation of services Ability to work under pressure Good time management Willingness to undergo a CRB check
