Asbestos Surveyor – Permanent - £20,000 - Peterborough
To manage the asbestos that is within Cromwell Associates Ltd management customer base whilst training to become an Asbestos Surveyor. To ensure our clients are compliant with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. To assist the Divisional Manager in developing and increasing the management customer base.
To visit customer sites and inspect their asbestos
Annual visits to determine the condition of the clients asbestos
To upload information
To update the clients web based asbestos management plan
To ensure maximum exposure of Cromwell associates services
To talk to clients and ensure they are using all our services
Develop the customer base
In conjunction with the Divisional Manager contact potential clients for the Divisional Manager to visit
To provide Asbestos Surveys After qualification the person will be required to undertake asbestos surveys.
Good use of Microsoft Office
The ability to pick up drawing software
Good command of written English
Good communicator
Good telephone manner
Car and clean driving license
Working Conditions
This will be a mobile position covering multi counties; therefore, the ability to stay away is essential. Our offices in Peterborough must be easily accessible from their home.
Physical requirements
There is a need to carry ladders and other heavy equipment
Other Considerations
This will be a contract role to start, with a starting wage equivalent to £20,000 p.a. plus car allowance. Therefore they must be a car owner. If the person is successful after 6 months or before they will be trained to P402 Asbestos Surveying standard and appointed to PAYE status with a salary increase to £22,500. All the normal equipment will be provided for the person to perform their roll.
