Admin Assistant – Peterborough - £7.50 ph – 20 hours per week.
To assist the Divisional Manager for Demolition in the day to day administrative functions. To liaise with various parties to ensure all works are completed in a timely and professional manner
To manage the Divisional Managers diary To talk to appointees and confirm appointment whilst keeping the diary up to date To produce proposals with the assistance of the Divisional Manager produce standard proposals for clients To liaise with prospective clients To phone clients we have sent proposals to and try to get agreement for the works To assist our contractors fulfil the works required To manage the supply of equipment and materials where needed, ensure all hires are made and off hired, ensure all paperwork is returned to the office and logged, to prepare time sheets To ensure a full and accurate record is kept for every job Make sure all costs are recorded in set templates and an ongoing tally is kept for costing purposes To complete financial and forecasting reports To provide cost analysis reports on jobs to the MD along with sales forecasts When require to perfume a telesales role
When work is slack there is a need to contact construction and other companies that need a demolition service to sell our services This is not an exclusive list of duties and the staff member may be required to perform other roles as and when required
Must have computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook Must be good with figures Must be a quick learner whilst maintaining accuracy
Must be a team player and be able to mix well with our present staff
This is a temp role for 20 hours a week. As the efforts of the individual increase the work load then this can increase to full time with the eventual aim to be temp to perm
