Logistics Support Co-ordinator – Peterborough - £22,000 - £25,000 pa

To provide a cost effective Liquids Planning and transport operation solution for the Wholesale business to meet defined levels of service required by both the end user and co-product supplier.

Delivering outstanding, efficient and cost effective planning and transport operational solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations in order to gain and maintain a competitive advantage.

Planning the Liquids operation on a daily basis to ensure:

All Co-product site clearance contracts are managed and planned in the most cost efficient and effective way whilst maintaining the required level of service to the Liquids Co-product suppliers.

The achievement of on time in full customer deliveries in line with the agreed service level agreements with the relevant Channel.

Stock and Store control processes are adhered to, to maximize the performance of the business.

Working with the customer service team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and within the desired time, product and site availabili8ty parameters.

Monitoring site clearance and ensuring continuing adequate product movement from site.

Allocation of Haulage work to service partners and being the principle contact for hauliers and customers relating to Liquid deliveries and site clearance contracts.

Reviewing production plans and anticipating stock fluctuations and reacting to these to ensure Customer service levels are adhered to whilst minimizing the cost impact.

Undertake administration duties / KPI & report compilation to support the office structure and Senior Management as required and defined.

Identify potential opportunities to enhance customer service and the profitability of the operation.

Dealing with ad-hoc late order and operational planning and clearance issues that arise on a daily basis.

Manage the daily relationship with the Liquid hauliers, reviewing performance and negotiating spot rates. Distributing and monitoring signed acceptance of storage and haulage agreements and maintain up to date information within AX.



Assisting the Supply Chain Management Team with event Management and forward planning of Peak Operations.

Working with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure full job knowledge of all areas to provide cover during periods of absence and operational flexibility.

Liquids AX s Key user, providing:-
• support to the AX / Logistics user group, resolving issue or escalating to the appropriate support group
• Ensuring the correct use of systems in line with work instructions (procedures)
• Maintaining Liquids master data within the system.


• Identifying system bugs and assist with the design and resolution of the problem
• Support specialists in managing system and process changes
• Perform unit testing and regression testing on future software releases

Out of hours contact point for Liquid Co-product suppliers and hauliers.

The successful applicant will have previous Transport Planning experience ideally in a busy transport environment.



Practical experience of co-ordaining and managing stock or a site clearance contract would be beneficial.
