Logistics Analyst (Material Planner) – Stafford – 3749501 - £13.30 ph– 12 months.
An opportunity has arisen within the Material Planning team at Stafford, to support growth in engine volumes and proactively manage our supplier base.
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and has a desire to succeed.
To ensure on time delivery of parts to achieve the production plan, and to work with suppliers to continually improve delivery performance and control inventory levels.
The role will involve building close relationships with suppliers; therefore the ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal skills.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Material Planning / Supply Chain role, and will be able to demonstrate achievements in this area.
Responsibilities
• Controlling supplier schedules through effective planning and interpretation of supply and demand information
• Obtain delivery plans from suppliers to support the engine build plan and escalating problems when necessary
• Liaising with internal customers to advise latest delivery information
• Work with suppliers to identify root causes of supply problems and improve performance
• Analyse data and report supplier performance statistics
