PURPOSE OF THE JOB • Oversee the complete credit control cycle for sales generated from Third Party Insurers (TPI) and Spare Parts. • Ongoing support for team members and the Credit Risk Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the TPI and Spares function. • Identify threats and weaknesses and provide necessary resolutions. • Project manage system and process implementations.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Full man management of the TPI and Spares Service Credit Control team. • Report departmental performance through effective KPIs. • Target and measure team members periodically to highlight areas of focus. • Periodic team planning to co-ordinate weekly activities. • Implement cross training and knowledge transfer to manage holiday and absence cover. • Improve resolution timeframe of rejections. • Encourage a proactive approach in TPI cash collection across the function. • Identify key insights into outstanding TPI rejections and deliver recovery initiatives. • Be the focal point and driver for system and process implementations. • Precise payment terms and overdue administration to facilitate accurate ageing reporting. • Advise on process improvements to increase departmental efficiencies. • Prioritise workload to hit deadlines and objectives by fully maximising departmental resources. • Initiate review meetings with Service Commercial, Credit Risk Manager and other stakeholders to analyse performance and suggest methods to improve.
