Description: | Senior Media Sales Executive - £18,000 - £21,000 plus bonus – DOE. Unlike most media sales roles, there is enough interest in our clients services to keep the sales teams more than busy. In a typical day, our client receives over 50 new business enquiries from companies interested in our services (that’s in addition to our regular clients, many of whom have forged enduring relationships with us). They invest heavily in training and everyone is included in an on-going programme designed to build knowledge and skills. You will receive regular one-on-one coaching from industry specialists who will devise a program of development based on your individual requirements. As a business, we use cutting-edge technology designed to make you more effective in your role. This includes such things as lead scoring, call tracking, a mobile-friendly website and a live chat. 2013 was our clients best year in twelve years trading history due in large part clients becoming increasingly more aware of their latest marketing strategies. Previously, those strategies were centred around traditional print advertising in the major national newspapers (including The Times, The Guardian and The Mail) which continue to be popular. We’re now finding that the growth of online advertising is allowing guaranteed response rates which our clients love. THE ROLES The vacancies are sales positions and depending on your background, it will be either within the print or online team. You will be responsible for building a fast-growing client base by handling enquiries resulting from the company’s marketing campaigns. You will also contribute to the management of long term clients and be expected to grow existing accounts. On the online advertising team, clients need to be advised about the variety of online targeting techniques which include contextual, behavioural, re-targeting and site specific advertising. In the case of print advertising, a consultative sell is required to assure clients of our knowledge and expertise in this field. QUALIFICATIONS: Essential Minimum 2+ years proven media sales experience in either print or online. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in a business, marketing or sales-related course.
Preferred Track record of sales success. Consistent overachievement of sales quotas. Track record for business development with new and existing clients. Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. THE PACKAGE Basic salary: Offer based on evidence of your current earnings balanced against banded salary structure. Bonus earnings: All sales staff have GUARANTEED percentage commission all sales made and it’s open-ended too, making earning potential very exciting.
