Our client is a well-known Hotel and Restaurant who are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their team. Duties include:
• Engaging positively with all customers who come to reception for whatever reason.
• Fielding promptly and efficiently all telephone enquiries coming to reception. Similarly with all emails or web enquiries.
• Maximising bedroom, business centre, restaurant and event bookings through appropriate and effective negotiation skills.
• Processing payments and charges accurately and efficiently.
• Communicating quickly and clearly with the rest of the reception team and, where appropriate, with other departments and the management.
• Suggesting ways the hotel can improve its future business
The desired candidate will be customer focused and aim to provide outstanding service and exceed guests expectations. You will have good literacy and numeracy skills, good IT Skills and have excellent people skills.
Working Hours:
7-4 or 3-11.30 shift, 5 days a week, including weekends.
Salary:
£16,000 - £17,000 + tips
