Logistics Support Co-ordinator – Peterborough - £16,000 - £20,000 pa – 6 months FTC. To provide cost effective Planning and transport for the Wholesale business to meet defined levels of service required by both the end user and co-product supplier.
The successful applicant will have previous Transport Planning experience ideally in a busy transport environment.
Practical experience of co-ordaining and managing stock or a site clearance contract would be beneficial.

Planning the Wholesale operation on a daily basis to ensure:
All Wholesale Site clearance is managed and planned in the most cost efficient and effective way whilst maintaining the required level of service to the Site
The achievement of on time in full customer deliveries in line with the agreed service level agreements with the relevant Channel.
Control the daily production to ensure the factory is empty at the end of every day.
Communicate daily with the factory dispatch Clerks to ensure the plan meets production and that all deliveries have been collected from the previous day
Provide Weekly updates to Customers services and Sales team of product availability
Working with the customer service team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and within the desired time, product and site availability parameters.
Monitoring site clearance and ensuring continuing minimal product movement from site.
Allocation of Haulage work to service partners and being the principle contact for hauliers and customers relating to Pressed Pulp deliveries.
Undertake administration duties / KPI & report compilation to support the office structure and Senior Management as required and defined.
Dealing with ad-hoc late order and operational planning and clearance issues that arise on a daily basis.
Manage the daily relationship with the hauliers
Working with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure full job knowledge of all areas to provide cover during periods of absence and operational flexibility.
