Our client is currently looking for a UK Sales/ Sales coordinator to join a bust team based in St Ives. The purpose of this role is to provide a key support function to prospects and customers within a highly transactional segment of the customer database. This position will be responsible for all aspects of sales administration, supported by the technical sales engineers.
Duties include:
• Handling of enquiries made via phone, fax and email - involving technical sales staff where appropriate. • Qualify, enter or update customer information, and document call information using CRM call logs. • Carry out simultaneous telesales and data entry, providing customers with product and service information. • Acquire sufficient technical product knowledge to enable preparation of basic quotations, contract review and approval, as well as new order processing. • Progressing open customer quotes limited by stage or £ value and sending of order acknowledgements. • Make sales calls to qualify prospects and add additional contacts to the CRM system. • Proactively follow up leads generated from targeted marketing activity. • Data entry of unqualified suspects and trade show sales leads for new customer development and continuous cleansing of the UK Sales customer database. • To participate in any project or carry out specific tasks as may be assigned by the UK Sales Manager from time to time.
Person Specification
• Ability to multi-task proficient in relevant computer applications with strong data entry and typing skills • Knowledge/experience of sales call centre telephony and technology • Excellent telephone and communication skills (verbal & listening) • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate • Personable and intelligent with strong work ethic and aptitude to learn technical terminology and product features • Organised and methodical |
