A Linguistic QA Tester is responsible for testing, identifying, recording and suggesting fixes to potential bugs in video game programs relating to language issues, UI issues and compliance issues.
Looking for someone to start Monday 28th July for 5
days work.
Our client is looking for one each of the following : French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), German (any), Dutch, Portuguese (Portugal, not Brazil), Russian, Swedish, Danish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese (Mandarin / Taiwan), Simplified Chinese (Mandarin/ PRC), Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic, Thai, Norwegian
Run test suites, verify fixes, spot grammar and language mistakes in your language.
Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in a bug database.
Follow the documented processes at all stages of the testing process.
Verify that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.
Ensure that correct terminology is used.
Skills / Attributes Required:
Must be native speaker and have first-hand knowledge of the culture.
Excellent spelling and grammar in native language.
Excellent written and spoken English
Outstanding attention to detail.
Must be motivated and able to remain focused until project completion.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
The ability to write accurate, unambiguous and concise documentation in English.
PC Knowledge & proficient knowledge of MS Office suite of products is essential.
Ability to work independently and with teams.
Knowledge and love of video games a definite plus
