HR Advisor (3175376) – Peterlee – 7 months
Human Resources require a HR Advisor to offer support at the Peterlee facility including Administration, Budget Control, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Absence Management and also creation and implementation of best practices in HR policies and processes.
To provide a HR generalist support and guidance to Managers and employees in line with HR best practice To assist in the design and delivery of HR related training e.g induction / employment law Recruitment and selection of hourly and staff employees (temporary and regular) To monitor sickness absence (both long and short term), advise Managers / Supervisors on the operation of the Company’s Attendance Policy To work proactively with Managers / Supervisors / Union to minimise employee relations concerns, advise on performance issues, complaints and labour relations issues Maintaining a working relationship with the shop floor recruitment agency Be an active team member on a variety of 6 Sigma Projects
Essential:
Track record of working as Human Resource Advisor In-depth knowledge of human resources policies, procedures and systems Knowledge of employee’s benefits and entitlements Good level of awareness of current employment legislation High standard of administration and organisation skills Ability to make informed decisions and work unsupervised In-depth knowledge of HR related computer systems and processes High standard of Microsoft Office computer packages including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Relevant professional qualification, CIPD, or business degree preferred but not essential
