Description: | Our client work in an industry that is very regulatory and compliant biased. Working closely with our management team, as Manager you will manage the marketing department and implement a strategy to add value and increase profits generated from the marketing process.
The role will include: • Developing the corporate marketing strategy and writing the Marketing Plan in order to identify target clients. • Managing all marketing and promotional activities including: • Corporate branding • e-Marketing • Events/seminars • Promotional collateral • Service branding/packaging to meet client requirements. • Overseeing the enquiry process and responsibility for ensuring all marketing lead enquiries are dealt with effectively. • Exploring new channels to forge commercial partnerships and stimulate lead generation and new business. • Managing staff within the Marketing Department, including: • Recruitment & Motivation of team. • Identifying training needs and implementing training programmes • First line disciplinary procedures • Control of expenditure within the Marketing Department.
Our client is an SME and offers an environment fit for a self-starter not someone looking for the structure often offered by a large corporate entity. Therefore you will need to be a self-starter able to create a strong and effective marketing team.Good ideas will be supported only with good business plans.
The ideal candidate should possess: • A degree (or equivalent) in a marketing/business discipline • A high level of commercial awareness along with a good understanding of corporate finance and business processes • 3 years experience in a marketing /commercial role • Strong IT skills - including the use of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Publisher etc.) An understanding/experience of GIMP is desirable • Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients • Good copywriting skills • An analytical approach
