Trainee Customer Service / Sales Executive - £18,000 - £20,000 pa
To work as part of the team, leading by example to provide excellent customer service.
To personally provide excellent standards of selling & customer service by: Maintaining and providing comprehensive product information to customers. Understanding and demonstrating customer care and high levels of customer service Displaying good listening skills to identify customer needs Dealing with pricing enquiries Order handling Mostly inbound calls Must be able to prioritise workload Carrying out additional duties, appropriate to grade, as and when required. Supporting and helping colleagues with their work and getting behind company initiatives as and when they arise Showing a genuine want to help the team achieve its objectives Using initiative at all times Having the ability and willingness to acquire job related skills and knowledge through self development and by learning from others Demonstrating flexibility in order to meet the companies needs.
To ensure that all paperwork relating to replenishment, invoices and transfers is completed and returned within the given timescales.
To communicate effectively with line management on a daily basis to ensure they are: Adhering to company policies and procedures on timekeeping, absence reporting, customer service etc Actively supporting and communicating with colleagues, customers and managers.
At least 1 year’s previous experience working in an office customer service based role Good verbal and written communication skills Good attention to detail. Training will be given You must have the flare to progress.
Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 3pm.
